Confetti is a collection of 3D-printed Braille fragments of poetry. Confetti, defined to mean ’transferred and figurative’ combines the artforms of literature with sculpture in the visual arts field I use Reflow filament, which is a sustainable filament made from recycled-PETG in a variety of colours and print primarily in Grade One Braille so this can be accessible to a wide range of people, and translated letter by letter. The fragmentation of the poem illustrates the frustration felt by those without access to literacy while suggesting community by needing others, and their fragments, to complete the poem.
